An invention is a new composition, device, or process. An invention may be derived from a pre-existing model or idea, or it could be independently conceived in which case it may be a radical breakthrough. In addition, there is cultural invention, which is an innovative set of useful social behaviors adopted by people and passed on to others. Inventions often extend the boundaries of human knowledge or experience. An invention that is novel and not obvious to others skilled in the same field may be able to obtain the legal protection of a patent.

Q. we have a project for school called the invention unit. we have to come up with an invention, but i have no ideas. is their any problem that i could invent something for? i really have no idea!! thx for ur hlp! im in 8th grade. i have to draw a diagram of it

Q. How has the invention of jet propulsion impacted our lives today? I am typing a report on this, and there isn't a lot of info on the invention of jet propulsion. There is a lot on the jet engine however. Please show your source if you post a piece of information

A. The direct impact is that it made is making the world a smaller place. Jet propulsion enabled us to travel longer and faster, effectively bringing people closer. Speed and efficiency of transportation makes commodities better in cost and quality. In terms of human transportation, jet propulsion saves time and money. There are a few adverse effects like noise and atmospheric pollution, but the overall benefits gained by using jet propelled vehicles outweigh these.

How do I create my new invention without paying large sums of money?
Q. I have an idea that I would like to create. I've spoken to some invention companies but they want money first to research. Does anybody know of a organisation or anything similar that helps people to bring their ideas alive??
