Is it possible to submit in a invention idea without cost?
Q. I have a invention idea im confident about but from what I research, these companies that claim to help you usually involve some set up fee or a fee for patent or copyright whatever. Im pretty much financially in the hole but im 100% this invention concept would work. Any suggestions?

A. These companies basically charge you for filing the patent paperwork, and then for submitting your idea to companies. You can file for a patent yourself, and save the handling fees, but would still need to pay the filing fees. Once you file, you have a 'patent pending' situation. In can take dsome time to actually receive a patent number, because the office has to research all patents and make sure that your idea is patentable. You can then try and sell your idea on your own. Once you have receipt of filing, you need not worry about a company 'stealing' your idea. Realize however, many companies will not even entertain buying an idea that isnt already patented, and most wont even listen to an idea, for fear that should they have a… [cont.]

How do I find a manufacturer for my invention?
Q. I have an invention going through the patent process. How do I shop around for the best priced manufacturer with the capability to produce my invention? thanks astoneybro but I looked them up and found a report on the Federal Trade Commission that they have 48 claims of fraud and misrepresentation of their services to the patent holder. They charge thousands of dollars to promote an invention and then just stiff their clients. But I do appreciate the response.

Does anybody have any simple invention ideas that one could make an infomercial out of?
Q. My friends and I have to make a video for our honors English class selling an invention that we thought of. Something that is simple, and creative. It's part of a public speaking unit and it has to be like an infomercial trying to get the class to want to buy the invention. Any ideas?

A. yes; a teeth reader--set as a laser inside the brushing part of an electric tooth brush! So, after a person has brushed his teeth, he knows how well he has done! [one button brushes his teeth and when done, he pushes a different button to read the condition of the teeth. IF it says anything less than 10, he needs to re-brush that tooth or tooth area. With this system, after one gets their teeth cleaned one time, they should stay clean forever!
