How are minerals broken down in the body?
Q. These are dietary minerals, not the minerals you find in the dirt. These are also minerals found foods, not the ones found in supplements.

A. Minerals are not broken down in the body. Magnesium stays as magnesium in the body. The same with calcium and iron...sometimes taking on different charges. Minerals are important parts of enzymes and cofactors which are required to live.

Does anyone know which vitamins and minerals you need to grow healthy and long hair and nails?
Q. I am trying to grow my hair long and I want to know which vitamins and minerals I will need a lot of to make my hair grow healthy and long... And also, if you know the vitamins I need, can you tell me in which foods I can find them in large amounts? Thanks!

A. Biotin is a good supplement to take if you're looking to grow out your nails and hair. It is found mostly in dairy products and seafood.

Would it be a waste of my money to get bare minerals makeup?
Q. I am either going to get pricey hair extensions, (which i REALLY feel like i need after one of those classic terrible short haircuts) but my acne is also flaring up and my skin is getting worse, so i was thinking of investing in bare minerals makeup? I have oily oily skin that is sensitive and acne prone with lots of red marks left from acne. Should I get bare minerals? Will it be worth my money or should I get the hair?

A. OMG, do not, I repeat, do not buy Bare Minerals. This will not cover up acne, only redness or roscea. My sister who has moderate to severe acne bought this, tried it, and hated it. It took her like an hour to apply in the morning before school just to cover up all the acne and she was begging my mom to not go to school because it didn`t cover practically at all even after spending that much time trying to cover it. My sister will not go anywhere unless her foundation perfectly covers up the acne. It melted off her face during the day and she was completely freaking out.
